The snow is coming down so fast, Amelia Parsons doesn't see the speeding car until it's too late. One moment she’s crossing an ice-rutted street in St. Stephens, Maryland. In the next, she's flying into the air, and the world goes black. She wakes, confused, in what appears to be Santa’s workshop during the holiday rush. If that’s not strange enough, a hunky FBI agent named Daniel is there, demanding to know why she’s involved in a plot to ruin Christmas. Can she convince him she's not the villain and then work with him to find the real saboteur?Author Site: website
If you dig FBI heroes... (3 stars)A few of my earliest forays into the paranormal romance shelves had me reading and really enjoying a few of Rebecca York's Moon series novellas from anthologies. I'm not always a big fan of novellas or anthologies but she always stood out as one to pick up. So I, in the mood for a short holiday story, snapped this up.
A quick and interestingly plotted seasonal story this is one for those who like their investigator heroes a bit broody. The romance did feel a tiny but rushed but if you just need something creative around the holidays that'll bring out your Christmas spirit you might like this one.
