2014 Audiobook Challenge

So it's been years since I bothered to do a reading challenge of any type, I'm just too fickle. But June is Audiobook Month at The Book Nympho whom I've recently begun to more actively follow and when I saw that she had a challenge for audiobooks I couldn't resist joining in. ☺

Since I just started listening to audiobooks on a more-than-once-a-year basis this seemed like the perfect challenge to get me motivated to keep going on them. Good thing I'm on a 2 credits a month Audible subscription right now. lol

Since I already started the year off well I decided to go with level Stenographer (can listen while multi-tasking) 10-15 which will be an actual challenge for me since I only listen when I'm folding laundry, cooking, or doing another hands-on-but-menial activity.

Here's my list of titles for the challenge, as I finish them they'll get a strike-through.

  1. Divergent by Veronica Roth
  2. A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
  3. Hammered by Kevin Hearne
  4. Tricked by Kevin Hearne
  5. Trapped by Kevin Hearne
  6. Hunted by Kevin Hearne
  7. TBA
  8. TBA
  9. TBA
  10. TBA
  11. TBA
  12. TBA
  13. TBA
  14. TBA
  15. TBA
Do you listen to audiobooks? Why or why not? Do you have a favorite narrator? Or perhaps a genre you enjoy more in audio?

I couldn't stand just listening to a book. I need to hold the actual book in my hands or read it on Kindle or Kindle for PC.

I once tried just listening to a book and I think I fell asleep. *laughs*
