Weekend Reading [01/25-01/27] :: Witches & Whines

Blah. Woke up yesterday feeling like I had a hangover. The achy feeling wore off but the headache stayed. This morning... same feeling plus sore throat and chills. Crap on a cracker!
I'm a mom, I don't have time to be sick. Especially not on the weekend I have no one who can help me out available. *le sigh* Which means that instead of napping and reading in bed I'm stuck doing all the household stuff and taking care of my kidlets while feeling half dead. *insert Grumpy Cat face here*
I got a bit busy this past week and didn't get a damned thing done around here. The hubs thinks I have one too many blogs to run but I don't see how I could combine the two. Admittedly, RL stress has been hitting hard this week and I want to give his boss a real what-for about a flub she made that screwed us financially. So sick of money stress!

This weekend I'm kind of juggling books. I got way behind on FATED for book club and have finally decided I don't like it. I don't know, I want to just give it up but I hate doing that too so my inner drill sergeant is telling me not to be a quitter.

My iPad's Bluefire reader crashed on me this week and I lost a few ARCs that I hadn't backed up so I've been trying to get that situation sorted out. Yucky but worth it. Two I needed to get going are my reads for the weekend—THE CAT'S MEOW by Stacey Kennedy and A WITCH'S HANDBOOK OF KISSES AND CURSES by Molly Harper. I'll probably spend the whole weekend's reading time jumping between them. Who love's witch stories? If you do you can grab the former for only $2.99 right now and the other is up for pre-order. So far, I'm loving both. Sometimes you just need a witchy read, no? ;)

Anywho, I have to go mail some packages and pay bills and maybe take some medicine for the fever and body aches. Not sure I should even go out to do these errands but that's the joy of being the mom/housewife. Have a great weekend and tell me what you're reading in the comments! -- Rhi
