I'm over at RBTWBC w/ a Guestblog & Giveaway!

I am sooo behind today guys. Whoever invented babies and dogs should be... oh nevermind. Both did a fine job of being restless and needy all night so I'm tired and grumpy. That and sometimes I just really want to give the finger to other members of the blog community. It's not nice or right so I don't but sometimes I read things that just seem... catty... snooty... holier-then-thou. Sometimes I just have a hard time not feeling offended by the know-it-alls. I think maybe I'm too laid back and willing to help someone who asks for it if it is within my means to do so. Or maybe I'm a little mercinary in my tactics and don't like being told to feel bad for being driven.

It's probably just that I'm not cut out for dealing with other womens! :P I read a guy's review of a book I'm working on yesterday afternoon and he made this insanely great point about how evil girls are to one another. Ain't that the truth?

Any of you other bloggers out there ever feel like you're the odd man out because your stances on certain issues or even your opinion of a much beloved book are just not the same as everyone else?

Anywho... enough of me venting my spleen. (hehe you can see I've still got Hounded stuck in my head there)!

Crystal of Reading Between the Wines Book Club and I have become good bloggin' buddies and like the doofus I so helplessly am I took forever to write my guestpost for her. To be fair to myself I was kind of scared to pretend I know a damn thing about blogging because let's face it... I'm quite ignorant really. There's no right or wrong way to blog but if you really get down to it but there's also an unspoken accepted way and unaccepted way to do things or you're likely to unwittingly offend other bloggers and whatnot. I've already begun doubting my post but it is what it is and if it helps someone I'm happy if not... well life goes on.

Did I mention I'm giving away one of my fave books over there?

Alright enough of my mindless yapping. I've got to eat something, I think my blood sugar is affecting my mood for the worse. :P Hope you guys are having a rockin' Thursday, so glad it's almost Friday! -- Rhi

Your article/guestblog deal was really, really good. I've never had any drive to review books, but after reading your thoughts the whole Book Blogging idea seemed so much more... substantial to me. Whoever said that asking another Blogger for info was "Raunchy" is clearly a snob who id doing it all for the wrong reasons. People don't subscribe to you guys because you got access to a special book that no one else did. We do it because we love your point of view, your opinions, your style of writing, etc.

But like the one guy said, girls are generally really harsh to each other, so I'm sure that plays into it. You did a great job, gurrfreeen. :)

Aww thanks so much Ian! :)

It really can be tough sometimes because there isn't a guidebook on how to do things. The internet has completely changed the face of book reviewing and publishing in general. Some of it is awesome, some of it not so much.

Thankees for the comment.
