Happy Halloween! [UPDATED @ 2PM -- FREE MP3s!]

Just wanted to quickly send my wishes for a spooky and safe holiday for all!

I also want to thank everyone who has come over to take part in the blogiversary giveaway. I plan to announce the winner this coming weekend but will be sure and send them an email sometime Monday (Tuesday at the latest). I hope to continue to bring you a blog you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing for it.

With November starting it is time to say good-bye to Meljean Brook Month and hello to Gena Showalter's books. Time to catch up on The Lords of the Underworld and try something of hers I haven't yet enjoyed. I haven't taken the time to pop her an email asking for a short interview but I was thinking I might beg her for a brief one (I was thinking 5 ?'s about her non-writing funtime). What do you guys think?

Anywho, I shall be taking the baby for her first trick or treat tonight. At the last minute the hubby and I decided to dress up since it's her first. The budget was tight but I managed to throw together a devil costume—I think Demon Angel's Lilith was whispering in the back of my head when I was choosing between the witch and the devil ones—while the baby is dressed as an Ewok! Cutest Ewok. Ever. :D

After the candy begging march the plan is to relax with some beer and cupcakes to watch AMC's The Walking Dead premiere! If you haven't heard about it yet I suggest popping over to see what you think. They even have an awesome section of zombie costuming (make-up) tips and such. I found zombie bride and groom tees at Spencer Gifts for hubby and myself after we'd already bought our other costumes or I might have been tempted to do the zombie make-up and just wear those tees. Maybe next year. ;) But anyways, here is the trailer for you to check out...

Now those are some scary zombies! Love it!

And now I am off to make some buttercream icing and decorate cupcakes. May your Halloween be sweet! -- Rhi

P.S. -- I stumbled on this earlier but got busy with the cupcakes and hadn't yet had time to update this post...

Amazon.com has The 99 Darkest Pieces of Classical Music MP3 download available for $1.99 today. BUUUUUT if you run over to dealnews.com and grab the Free $3 MP3 credit you can get it for free!!! Can't beat that eh? Just make sure you get it bought TODAY because the credit expires tonight. It's a LOT of classical music and a perfect collection for Halloween. I've been enjoying it while the baby has her nap. :D Enjoy!

LOL... You sure do like Halloween. It's not that big with my family. Our Halloween consists of buying a bag or two of candy we like and eating it - no checking for candy that has been drugged or poisoned. :X

If you do get a Kindle for Christmas, let me know how you like it - and how many hidden fees there are - after you use it for a couple of months.

Oh, by the way, I added your review site to my links http://iceprincessreviews.wordpress.com/ - it is on the very bottom after the dragons. It is also on the links page.

Well, back to adding links to the review pages and revamping it. ^^;

I was totally gonna put some pics from Halloween up too but my husband is always borrowing my USB thinger for it and now I can't find it so they are stuck on my cam until I locate it. *doh*

I shall def let ya know about the Kindle should I actually get it. Maybe my hopes are a little high but I can't think of anything else around our budget the group sort of settled on (about $150 per person with each person/couple putting $50 toward each person) so maybe I'll get some other cool surprise I never even considered. lol

And TY so much for the linkback! Last I checked your profile was private so I couldn't see your review site link but I am sure with a little googling I'll find it. I have been meaning to start a page up at the top for linking to other blogs. :) All in good time I guess.

Oh... that's okay. I can imagine cute little kids in costumes. ;) I have a digital camera too - one that has been dropped three times (twice on our wooden kitchen floor and once on concrete). Amazingly, it still works - kind of. It just have to take out the batteries and restart it whenever it freezes up or does something weird. I'm just thankful it still even works. ^^;

And thanks. I'm thinking about getting one after I get a job, which hopefully will be soon. I have a phone interview set up with Hallmark this Friday, which is also my grandpa's birthday, so I'm planning on doing my best to get the job. Even though the hours aren't guaranteed, I still need one, in order to get job experience. I like surprises, but I also like getting what I want for Christmas. My Dad knows I like books, but he also knows I enjoy it even more if I browse around and look for books on my own. :X

And you are welcome. I didn't know my profile was set to private. Hmmm... >.> Oh, well, you found my review blog, so yay. \o/
