A story without an author is not worth listening to. -- Irish Proverb
Sorry for the bit of quite on my part this past few days dear readers. I've been a bit under the weather. Like all things in life I've had to be feeling cruddy when we've finally had some weather hinting at spring! Just a couple more months for us and the grass should get green again.
And how to celebrate a holiday where green is the color of the day when our trees and grass are as brown as can be? Well... I helped my husband shave his hair into a mohawk which he painted green for the day and we got our Irish on with the Boondock Saints over the weekend. The baby has a green striped creeper on and big brother managed to drag out a green shirt from the depths of his closet. But really we've got no special plans this year. I'd have me a Guinness wish dinner but alas, I'm not feeling well enough to be drinking this time.
Instead I think I'll curl up again with The Mammoth Book of Irish Romance and a cup of tea. I hope y'all have some fun whether you're getting out to the pubs for some green beer or just spending the evening in with some boiled cabbage and corned beef. :D -- Rhi
